Where will I find the car keys for my Getaround Connect rental?

When renting a car with Getaround Connect, you don't meet with the owner directly, the keys will be left inside the car. The owner usually leaves them securely in the glovebox, or in a pouch in the sun visor, in some cars there is also storage within the central front armrest.

If the car keys aren't there, you can check the pickup instructions from the owner, they may indicate where they usually store the keys. You can find these instructions on your Getaround app as soon as your rental has started, on the rental page.

If the owner has not specified where the keys should be, or they're not where the owner said they would be, you can try reaching out to the owner for more information by going to the Help section of the app, and selecting “Contact the owner”.
